Beautiful Journey

Beautiful Journey is a short reflection on the comfort that it is to struggle through life with the companionship of another. All of us experience the ups and downs life brings.  Having the steadfast companionship of another can make the joys more wonderful and the trials more bearable.  Beautiful Journey as written in June 2011 for the Atlantic Music Festival’s Summer Composition Institute, Waterville, Maine.  The piece is dedicated to my wife, Molly, for our fifth wedding anniversary, August 5th, 2011.
